We had the full english breakfast here and were very pleased and impressed. The quality of the food is superb, with the bacon, sausages and black pudding being particularly tasty. The coffee is delicious, and the service was great. The place itself is very light and airy, and the deli (whilst being quite expensive) has some really good produce. The... More

What a Fabulous building! A beautifully restored barn, with great modern interiors sympathetic to the building. Not much more I can add to what has already been said, but very welcoming and friendly service and the breakfast was quick to come out. Good choice of hot and cold drinks including decaf tea, for awkward customers like me. On the whole... More

There's nowhere to touch this place for miles around! The staff are brilliant and today all the gang were here. The food is top notch! Full English for the lads which was super duper. The bosses had Eggs Benny and loved every bite! Great pot of tea and the coffee is just right. Great food, great staff, say no more!

Checking out of nearby accommodation, mum and I needed breakfast. We booked 'Back to the Garden' and had a wonderful breakfast. I opted for the 'full English' and mum had scrambled eggs on granary toast. I had coffee-superb taste and mum the 'leaf' breakfast tea-delicious. SUBLIME breakfast in every respect. The hash brown was freshly made and tasty and crisp-like... More

My mum and I stopped for a cup of tea and a bit of cake a couple of days after the Easter weekend and at around 4pm when they close at 5 so we might have not been there when they were at their best. Selection of cakes (all that was left?) was minimal and uninspiring. Lemon cake, a couple... More

Ami, thank you for your detailed review. We did indeed have a record breaking Easter, but that is no excuse to let you and your mum down with a poor experience! Will check with the chefs to make sure we are not been 'tight' on the jam and lemons in the cakes. Would love you to give us a second... More

I adore this place. They stock a great range of special treats to tempt the tastebuds. The cafe is spectacular and the menu is well put together. My husband is a proper coffee snob and was very complimentary about his brew. All in all just a fantastic place to visit.

Thank you for your lovely comments. We are constantly reviewing our menu with the team to try and keep it interesting. The Musette coffee seems to be very popular with all our customers. We look forward to seeing you soon. More

My parents are regulars here, and when I'm over visiting with my girls we spend many a morning here enjoying their wonderful coffee (the best in the area!) We had the added bonus this time of sampling the delicious breakfast on Mother's Day with a glass of prosseco. Also the fish and chip evening was a hit. Very relaxed, friendly... More

Thank you for your lovely review. The Musetti coffee is extremely popular with our customers! Fish and Chips on Friday nights is getting more and more popular, so always best to book, we are hoping to expand the offering to BBQ in the garden when the weather is a little more consistent. Annie and her team are real stars. More

One of the most under-rated restaurants in north Norfolk, great as a cafe during the day but they also do really good food on the too rare occasions when they do evening opening. Try the fish-and-chip Fridays currently running, superb cod in fantastic batter. Brilliant service too.

Many thanks for your really positive review, it means a lot to the team to get positive recognition for their great service directly from customers. We are looking to expand our evening openings, we want to get Fridays up and running and make sure that we are always open. In the summer holidays we will look to be open more,... More

Description
The restaurant You can eat under the ceiling of the massive eighteenth-century oak barn or, if it's warm, amongst the flowers in our garden, a place of serenity and calm that's good for the soul. The Butchery All of the Angus-sired beef, lamb, chicken, geese and turkeys on the butcher's counter have been raised organically at our farm. The rare breed, outdoor reared pork is sourced locally. The Deli You will find many of the best British artisan cheeses, organic salami and a choice of food from our kitchen. The Shop We have a zest for sourcing producers who reflect our own ideals, for whom quality and provenance count. The wine is selected in conjunction with Fields, Morris and Verdin, the wholesale distributors for Berry Bros and Rudd.
