Simply delicious.

This cafe is fantastic. Very friendly staff, very relaxing atmosphere and spotlessly clean. My partner had the sausage sandwich, three large plump sausages which were excellent quality, the bread was very fresh, The cheese and ham bagel which I had, was served up in two halves. It was literally stacked with thick cut Norfolk ham. The coffee was always hot and fresh. We visited several times, the quality was consistently excellent. What a great place.

Lovely food and friendly staff

We decided to have a spot of lunch during our day out to Sheringham. It was busy but we eventually settled on trying the Kitchen. So glad we did the place was well appointed with good space between people and had a vert friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered our food, a mix of sandwiches and bacon rolls, all of which was very tasty. One thing that caught my eye was the condiments came with a small pair of scissors to help rather than trying to tear them with your teeth. A simple but clever and effective idea. We sat inside but there was the option to also sit outside, if you preferred. All in all a very good experience

It is so rare to find a full breakfast at a cafe that lives up to the anticipation, indeed in half a century of cafe going I can count the breakfasts that come up to the mark on one hand. I am pleased to say the kitchen breakfast is number one. The sausages and bacon were beautiful and the eggs perfectly cooked. Everything was piping hot. I really wasn’t expecting this and couldn’t be happier with the surprise. Don’t miss the experience when you are in Sheringham.

Big Breakfast

It’s the little things that make eating out a great experience, and the kitchen certainly does the little things, from scissors to cut the little packets of condiments to a little galvanised bucket to put the empty wrappers in. We stopped for a breakfast which I must say was excellent, local produce sausage and bacon were the best. Service also was brilliant, highly recommended. Lunch menu also looked good

Tasty breakfast

We had an excellent breakfast at The Kitchen in August 2021. Located conveniently on the main street, The Kitchen has both front and side outdoor seating areas as well as a smaller number of tables inside. The staff were very friendly and the food we had was of excellent quality, tasty and fresh. The small scissors attached to the pot of sauce sachets is genius, making things much easier when those sorts of sachets are hard to open. We very much enjoyed our meal there and would return.

Well cooked, quality ingredients. Friendly, fast service with amazing attention to detail. For example, condiments arrive in a miniature pail with scissors attached to cut those pesky little sachets open! Matching little silver pail for rubbish. Excellent value too!! Amazing 😘👌

Lovely breakfast

Just had breakfast at this lovely cafe. Service was great but the best bit was the delicious full breakfast! Served fresh & hot & we loved the option of granary toast, a little bit healthier 😂 We chose to dine out instead of having breakfast at our hotel & it was the best decision for both value & taste. Thank you 😊

Crab sandwich

Lovely crab sandwich,made with good quality bread. Son had a ham sandwich which was thick slices of ham and plenty of it. Served quickly with a smile and joke. Definitely recommend

Lovely restaurant

I had the pleasure of visiting The Kitchen yesterday with a friend. What a wonderful experience! We were welcomed into the establishment by very friendly staff who showed us to a table and promptly took our order Our coffee arrived moments later (the double shot latte is amazing by the way !!) followed by our cooked breakfast. This was freshly cooked and well presented. We chose “The Small Breakfast” which is very substantial and only £6:50. Great value for money. I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant for friendliness, service, quality of products, price and location. We shall definitely be returning again very soon.

As the reviews before this sounds like a fantastic place for breakfast. However, we were not aware that it was best to book ahead, if so we would have done that. When we reached the lovely looking cafe the sign said “wait here to be seated” it was pouring with rain so I went ahead to open the door. I was greeted with a bewildered look from a lady. I just said “breakfast”. To which the lady just said fully booked. Just a thought but if that’s the case pop a note on the “wait here to be seated” sign. If it had been a warmer greeting ( albeit the same reply ) we may have decided to book the following morning.

We are sorry we could not accommodate you at the time that you called. Normally, weather permitting, we have extra tables outside but obviously when the weather is bad we have limited tables inside which of course are socially distanced due to Covid regulations and customer comfort. The sign outside is so that we can seat customers when they arrive, subject to availability, and control the flow of people in and out. It would not be practical to change our external signage throughout the day depending on what availability we have or do not have as we would be constantly having to pop in and out as customers arrive/leave. It is also the case that often, if we aren't able to accommodation people immediately, we can speak to them and either give them an idea of when a table may become available or they are able to book a table for a later time. Of course, we are always happy to take bookings. Jackie

Best coffee in Sheringham (possibly in Norfolk!)

We tried several places for coffee/light snacks during our 10 day stay in the area but found nowhere to match this place. The coffee is excellent, the kids loved the milkshakes and we can highly recommend the cakes, especially the liem and coconut. Super clean loos.

A little gem

Very accommodating, pushed tables together for our group of 5. Our order was taken quickly and the food arrived promptly and was tasty. They even gave the kids a little sweet at the end of our meal. Unfortunately a large group arrived and weren't happy about having to wait to have their order taken so left rather loudly, the older lady was very rude as she left ( even after the group had a couple move so they could sit together and the owner once again pushed tables together for them). I think people forget these small cafes have small teams and sometimes patience and manners go a long way!

Great breakfast!

Very nice breakfast, beautifully cooked and plenty to fill you up! Nice choice on menu and some nice looking cakes for later in the day! Service is great and very chatty staff. Very good value food and coffee. Tables cleaned down very well after vacated and ready for new customers, there is often a short queue but tables are serviced quickly. Some outside tables as well. Will certainly return

Really lovely food served in a nice clean restaurant from friendly staff. We visited The Kitchen on the 3 mornings we were in Sheringham and were pleased with food and service on every occasion. Definitely worth a visit.

We went here for breakfast on our last morning in Sheringham and had a wonderful meal, I had the full English cooked to perfection and piping hot, very filling too, my wife had beans on toast and there must have been a full tin of beans, also piping hot. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, they let us in even though we had our rather wet Labrador with us (THANK YOU). Would definitely recommend a visit all the food that came out while we were there looked lovely.
