We visited for lunch and will be back. An excellent and varied menu catered for, and delighted, everyone and the location is just right for a postprandial stroll.

When we walked in we knew that we wanted to eat here but those few words fill you with dread "have you booked?" Which of course we hadn't. Very quick to sort us a table out and the food was fantastic and no delay caused by us not having a starter! Would recommend the Beef Roast and the Sausage and... More

Whenever I organise a walk I am always worried whether my fellow ramblers will enjoy their lunch. I can honestly say that the pub provided a superb meal - the roast beef was superb! The service was friendly and very professional. In fact... More

Beautiful homemade granary bread from the shop next door. The menu offered many other items which looked very tempting too. The pickled onions were so good and the waitress happily went off to enquire and the... More

Just eaten a wonderful meal, Mediterranean fish soup followed by the most amazingly delicious beef main course. The service was attentive, efficient and helpful. I wish this was my local! Highly recommended.

We stumbled across this pub whilst we were waiting to check in into our nearby stay. We ended up returning another 3 times during our time in Suffolk, it was that good! Staff were really friendly and welcoming and happy to recommend drinks and food. The food was amazing. We are for lunch and for dinner (different menus) and both... More
