My other half and I went for the afternoon tea here. It was so busy when we got there so I’m glad we booked ahead food time! They were pretty short staffed when we went but the our waitress Zara took great care of us....Even though she was constantly running around she made sure we were well looked after. The afternoon tea comes in 2 parts, a main and the dessert platter. It was so fulfilling. Overall great experience, with some great music. And again, thank you Zara!More

I was in charge of organising the Christmas party for my work this year and we all decided we wanted somewhere we could have dinner and a dance so we all decided on revolution. I emailed with a query and a date and received a...reply same day from a lovely lady called Kai who I negotiated a party package with including food and drinks to cater for all of my team. On arrival we were shown to our table and there was a lovely little touch on the table with name cards and what we had all ordered for starters, main and desserts, this was a fantastic idea as people tend to forget what they have preordered! I was approached by another lovely lady, I think her name was Zara (sorry if that’s wrong) and she introduced herself as she would be looking after our table that evening, she asked whether we wanted food now or drinks or all at the same time which was brilliant, I felt she was running everything like a military operation and I love that, organisation at its finest! She even gave us 2 free shot vouchers each which we used as a table game as you had to pick the shot for the person next to you (chilli shot should come with a warning lol) All of the team had a wonderful time and the food and service was really lovely, especially the butternut soup and the Christmas pudding waffle! Arranged My Wife's Party here all options offered along with suggestions regarding Food and Drink options. On the Night the Bar Staff introduced themselves showing us the Drinks including Cocktails that were covered by a Drink Voucher System. A nice vibe as We had the...whole Upstairs Bar I met Conor the Duty Manager who was friendly and Professional the Buffet Food was very good although I would tinker with some of the Veggie dishes ( a very small observation) the Sliders Calamari and Chicken Crispies went down very well. The Cocktail requests kept the Girls behind the Jump busy but they were very friendly and industrious. So Our Four Hour Solo use ended and We retreated into Half of the Bar. We were very happy with Service Quality of Drinks on offer and would not only recommend the venue but are looking to Celebrate here in the New Year. Well done RevolutionMore

Visited last night for Quiz night and had the best night. Not only was the Quiz brilliant the food and drinks were unreal. Will definitely be coming back next week

Staff are absolutely incredible they made me and my family so welcome and we had the best experience in a Southend bar I’ve ever had!

Over priced and poorly mixed cocktails with ingredients not available definitely not worth a visit the bar definitely lack atmosphere on a Saturday

T’was a grey day in “Sunny” Southend, our fathers had abandoned us like stray cubs fallen from the pack, but hope had not, just as the winters sun breaks through thick clouds on an over-cast day. Beams of lights directed us like a message from...a higher being, casting colourful rays upon one location, Revolution Vodka Southend. I, the “leader” and group cleric yelled out “Boys, I see a sign from our all mighty lord!” the weary, grogged out travellers looked and saw the tavern in all it’s majestic beauty, it’s industrial style of decor, leather clad booth seating and warm Amber hues emitting through glazed windows. We knew we had found home. Our eyes all gleamed like diamonds caught in a glare of light. We entered, a spritely young maiden greeted us “Welcome chaps, we’ve cleaned a booth just for you!”… This was our first encounter with Zara, the tavern owner. The group all abandoned arms at the door, we felt safe in the company of Zara and the rest of the cohorts, knowing we could rest without disruption for land baron orcs and evils elves who littered the desolate settlement of Southend. Grog after grog, after grog, we sat and weathered the storm, Zara serving us up some of the finest dishes we’d ever seen this side of the earth. She offered us tinctures, espresso martinis to be specific. Time grew on, our non-biological father fell asleep in the booth as we celebrated his covenants of children. Zara came over and assisted taking our weathered father out and saddling him up on a horse, ready for the long road ahead… to be continued… TL;DR: Great food, Great Cocktails and Great ZaraMore

Went on my own for lunch and had the BBQ meat feast pizza and Americano. The service was lovely and friendly. The service was incredibly rapid and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. Perfect.

I am a regular at revs for many reasons, but mostly for their weekly quiz on a Tuesday. It’s interactive, free, has an amazing host and is by far and away the best run quiz night I have attended. The staff are always very attentive...and despite it being extremely busy each week, they’re always on the ball and make sure everyone has a great time! Connor who works every week is fantastic and always around if you have any issues & Kai who hosts the quiz is the best host around! With it being free to enter, and prizes on offer all night, it’s a no brainer. Also, they have recently introduced a special beer/cider offer for the quiz, which means along with their 2-4-£10 offer on cocktails it’s great value for money.
