Top notch service, waiters are real attentive and have good product knowledge. They're Italian so they know all about authentic dishes. Favourites are their saltimbocca, spaghetti agli e olio, and carbonara. Cheese garlic bread is spot on. My favourite Italian in southend.

Lovely birthday meal. Had a great evening celebrating my Son’s 16th birthday. Had the legendary garlic bread for start - carbonara, veal and T-bone for mains - ice cream and profiteroles for desserts. Gorgeous food!!! The portions are huge!!! The home made Honey and Lemon cheese cake was to die for. The atmophere is great and The staff are very friendly. Great Family Restaurant!!

Excellent in every possible way!! My wife and I had a very enjoyable mean here Saturday night. The Restaurant was packed out which is a good sign. The Pinacolada is by far the best We have ever tasted! We both Had seafood tagliatelle with chilli...washed down with a nice bottle of Primitivo. Although the restaurant was busy the staff are very attentive and the price is very reasonable. We certainly going to come back and sample the rest of the menu as there so many dishes we want to try.More

Such good food & service! Came here on one of my lunch breaks by myself & felt so welcomed by the staff. Food was absolutely amazing! Definitely going to bring my family here over the Christmas period. Recommend 100%!!!

Fantastic staff, very attentive my steak was super soft and juicy with a generous selection of veggies, my wife had some fresh ravioli stuffed with lobster which were delicious. good atmosphere, nice location. definitely will be back.

A fantastic restaurant welcoming staff ,very good food the mussels were wonderful. there were six of us and we took 3 courses with various cocktails one better than the other... great selection of wines. we had a very good chianti classico, we spent 40 pounds...per person and for what we got I would say a reasonable price... We had lunch with friends. Service was good, even tho we've found 40 pounds more in our hand written bill and we had to ask for a revision. The food was barely ok. We had seafood risotto, which are just ok; it came out from...the kitchen in 10 minutes, so we can just assume it was precooked rice with some precooked sauce made with frozen fish, as the texture of the seafood was a bit on the softy and bland side. We also got seafood linguine, which was pretty much like the risotto... I got the monkfish, which came with a pink tomato sauce (cream must have been used), mushroom and vinegary onions...it was bland and lacked of salt...a bit of a disaster. I got my monkfish with a side of broccoli and carrots that were rather mushy and a little soggy (most possibly from frozen), and also cauliflower with cheese that I did not even touch, and chips, which were good. The garlic bread was good tho. For 2 starters, 4 mains, 4 glass of house white, 2 deserts and 2 half liter waters we spent £150, so it was about £37.5 each for a bunch below average food. This is way overpriced! Avoid this place and go for a cheap but at least good fish and chips instead. They promote their food as Italian, but what I tasted have nothing to do with Italy. They should not be allowed to say they make Italian foodMore

Always a favourite of ours and had not been for a few years and not sure why because wow! The food is simply stunning. Staff friendly, great atmosphere and definitely the best Italian around.

Have been out of the country for a few years and back to an old favourite which definitely stands the test of time. They have had an update to the decor since last there, nice and fresh,complimenting the food. Luckily still the same family owners...after 35 years and what a contrast with the many fake ‘Italian’ restaurants around the city ( town, last time here) I asked the lovely, attentive waitress Leona, for a fillet steak which was not exactly as per menu, pan fried in garlic butter, served with roasted peppers and aubergines all served to perfection, complimented by a wonderful Primitivo. After leisurely enjoy the above I went for Leona’s recommendation of the cannolo for dessert perfectly rounded off with an espresso and a glass of Remy. A perfect evening. Will be back there in a couple of weeks.More

Such a top restaurant and lovely staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The drinks and food are amazing!!!
