Came here for dinner last night with a friend before a show at the cliffs pavilion and it was incredible- the food was absolutely delicious, has incredible views over the sea and the staff were absolutely amazing; attentive, friendly and welcoming without being over bearing....A true hidden gem and I will definitely be coming back.More

I pre booked for a monday evening, told the lady on the phone we are going to the theatre so we arrived at 6pm, 2 hours before the show. Arrived at 6pm. Got squeezed in next to other tables, I had to apologise to a...couple for squeezing through whilst they are eating. Waited 10 mins for our drinks order. I ordered a diet coke. When the waitress came over 20 mins later to take our food order I said my diet coke is flat. She rudely said it's from a can so it cant be, then said the ice must have melted too fast. She brought me a new can and dumped it into the glass causing a lot of foam. She says "definitely not flat now, see." That's not how you pour a drink, she didnt tilt the glass at all. (Going by other reviews, she must be the manager.) Both male waiters were lovely but both were stopd chatting whilst I was giving eye contact and smiling to order but didnt notice us. This went on for a few minutes. Starter was nice, garlic bread, but took a while to arrive. There were only 2 other tables of people at the time. A couple and a table of 6 who were half way through their mains, so the long waiting time was strange. Mains arrived, big portions and the food was ok, I found the pasta slightly hard and very rich so I barely ate any. But it was hot and a reasonable portion. Then when we asked for the bill the waiter couldn't calculate how much I owed after my friend had paid so I had to use my calculator on my phone for him! So many people recommended this place and I thought being a monday we shouldnt have to wait as long as a weekend. Unfortunately we wont be returning.More

Every time I go in, with anyone at all, they are so so friendly. The atmosphere is very traditional and really positive, relaxed and happy. The food never stops impressing me. From their fish to there veggie options to the specials board, all of the...good is incredible. It hearty, it’s fresh, it’s everything you want for a proper Italian experience that doesn’t involve you physically going to Italy. I’ll always go back, again and again.More

Excellent customer service. They made us feel very welcome and could not do enough for us. A couple of my grandchildren are fussy eaters and the Restraunt really went out of their way to accommodate. Will defo go back there again.

This restaurant is really well reviewed so thought we’d give it a go after a lovely day at the beach. From the moment we entered, the service was slow. Took a long time between sitting down and ordering a drink. The time between starter and...main was nearly 1 hour which is a long time for 2 plates of pasta which finally arrived and was over cooked which is a shame. We decided to ask for the bill whilst finishing the main to save time. Staff were apologetic having recognised the slow service. Hopefully a one off but having the same waiter greet diners, prepare the table, prepare and deliver the drinks and food and settle the bills is a bit much. The only thing the waiter didn’t seem to do was cook the food as well!More

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the hotel we were staying at. Lovely little Italian with great views over the estuary, the staff were friendly and polite. The menu is VAST, too many choices, could take you all night to decide what...to order! 😂 We ordered a Garlic Bread and a Bruschetta starter, both did not disappoint. For mains we ordered a Steak with a mushroom sauce (Boscaiola) and a Pizza (Flying)!, (well it is an Italian) and again we weren’t disappointed. Both were very tasty and cooked well. We didn’t have any desserts as we were full to bursting. Nice little restaurant.More

Came here for a birthday celebration and had a really lovely time. I found the staff to be very pleasant- and quite amusing as my table, one-by-one, butchered their language by attempting to read our order off of the menu! The restaurant was attractive and...had a relaxed atmosphere. I found the menu very large; and a little overwhelming!- but it's always nice to have lots of choice. The food was delicious and fresh and my table all left empty plates. I have gushed about this place since I went and would love to return and bring others along to experience such a lovely little place!More

They squeezed us in without a booking and the food was fantastic. I’d recommend the Chicken Milanese and my partner had the penne pollo e spinaci which was so good (I stole a bit when she wasn’t looking) that I’m going to have to get...it myself next time. Reasonable prices and squeaky clean and efficient (important during the current restrictions). Por favore, Flying Pasta!More
