Love Sunday Roast at the Hamlet but the Yorkshire puddings always let the meal down for me as they are far too large and nearly always over cooked. Other than that everything else is Superb including the staff . Went down yesterday..

We visited the Hamlet Court today as my fathers health hasn’t been too good so we wanted to take him somewhere he really enjoys. The food was superb and he hasn’t stopped talking about how much he enjoyed the Ham, Egg and Chips (he’s favourite...dish). Our roasts were lovely, the beef was cooked just right. We have had some terrible roasts in other local restaurants lately but this was perfect. Excellent chefs. Micky G, Mary and all the staff can’t do enough to help you and just a really lovely group of people. It’s great to see local business like the Estuary Pub Company doing well as they must care for their staff as they seem to attract and keep some amazing staff for years in all their establishments. Superb and highly recommended.More

Had a delicious dinner with wonderful service by such a helpful, young man called Tyler. We have been coming to the Hamlet for many years and have always been happy with the food and service and lovely atmosphere. All staff are so helpful as are...the management. Very friendly and welcoming and definitely recommend it. Food menu is such good value and delicious food.More

We had a lovely lunch, but, what bought me on here was Laura, the lady that has served us many a time and always has a lovely manner and way about her. Always efficient and attentive if it is busy. Thank you Laura!

We have been regulars at the East Anglia group pubs for many years as the service and food is always consistently a great standard. We went to the Hamlet tonight 13.07.21 and just wanted to say well done to all the staff and especially wanted...to comment on the quality of food. The presentation and the quality of cooking was a different level tonight, superb. It’s great to see a selection of daily specials added to the menu now lockdown is easing, the Steak pie was perfect. Well done Mickey, Mary, the Chef (sorry didn’t get the name) and all the staff!More

Place was busy for a Sunday evening which was a good sign but limited choice of real ales. Staff coped well with current restrictions and food was good.

Have been coming here for 6 years and never had any issues , always welcoming and polite , it’s so disappointing when people make up false allegations because they were refused drinks due to either being too drunk, abusive or late , social media is...easy to make up nonsense, just ignore them people, it’s a lovely place .More
