I don’t usually write reviews, but felt it was necessary on this occasion. I ordered a lasagne and it was basically all mozzarella and sauce. It was so salty that I’m now gasping for water, a thirst that is difficult to quench. I also ordered...a mozzarella and tomato salad, the tomatoes tasted hard and bitter. The whole experience was disappointing, I would have got more for my money with a Tesco’s £2 microwaveable meal. Instead, £20 and I’m still hungry and feel conned.More

Lovely restaurant, nice decorations, friendly staff and very reasonable price! The food was so delicious, their penne pollo is lovely and the profiteroles were to die for. One of the best restaurants around!

Very disappointed - we have been there a few times before and the service was good- I booked a few weeks ago - table for 8 people for my mum's 89th birthday- when I booked - I asked if they would put a candle in...mum's dessert and write Happy Birthday on it ( as most restaurants do) they said yes no problem ( I explained that we didn't want to bring a cake as we were going straight to the theatre afterwards) when we arrived- I said to the person that took the order - it is mum's birthday- no reaction - and the dessert came - no mention of her birthday or any candle - if they had said 'we can't do that' - fine - we would have sorted out a cake - but having said they would - then didn't bother - was disappointing- food was nice - but my impression of the service was that they were busy and not interested- won't be going there again.More

My partner and I visited here for an evening meal, we hadn't booked, but they fitted us in even though they were busy. This was a first visit for me and my partner had been a couple of times. The staff were lovely, very helpful...and very polite. The food was amazing, I couldn't fault it at all. Everything arrived quickly and was very hot. There were lots of choices on the menu - it was hard to choose! I would definitely visit again.More

Our sons took us to this restaurant for a surprise anniversary meal last night. Have to say it was the best Italian food I have ever had. There was plenty of vegetarian options for my sons which makes a change as not many restaurants have...enough options. It was all very reasonably priced too. I had the Pâté, Linguine Pescatoré and Tortufo Di Cioccolato. Everything was absolutely beautiful!! The duck pâté was gorgeous and I couldn’t get enough of it. Although maybe a bit more bread or crispy thin bread would be nice. The Pescatoré was amazing!! Plenty of perfectly cooked seafood and the sauce was beautiful 👌. Not much can be said about the Tortufo apart from that you have to try it!! Heaven!! A huge thank you to the staff who were very welcoming, patient and very helpful. Especially while we questioned about some of the menu as my sons were vegetarian. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend it!!More

I have been to this restaurant many times before. Always have had delicious food and excellent service. Went there Saturday evening and again the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Would totally recommend this restaurant for whatever occasion. Whether it be as a...couple/s dining out of or for going out with the family. The food is delicious and there is a nice amount of variety. Something for everybody.More

All I can say is that this is truly a little Gem in Westcliff, opposite the wonderful Palace theatre. The service and food is simply divine, cocktails are reasonably priced and rather delicious, garlic bread leaving you wanting more, olives easily eaten like sweets on...a plate. My daughter and I had the Risotto and we weren’t disappointed, absolutely fab. Hubby and son in law had pasta.. linguini, again superb, a margarita pizza for my grandson who said it was the best pizza he’d ever had and that’s something because he is so darn fussy! The service in this difficult time was second to none. Polite, smiley and always wanting to please. Also I must say that the restaurant has a wonderful ambience, decoration very sophisticated and yet soft on the eye. Well done you guys and Girls, we had a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.More
