We visited on Sun 4 Dec for lunch as part of a family group of around 45 people ranging from very young children to grandparents. The Vine had reserved us a nice big area for our party and the staff were relaxed but welcoming. The food was good value with a large selection of vegetables and well presented though it... More

We stayed at the premier inn attached to the vine inn this weekend and had two breakfasts and two dinners there. Upon first impression it wasn't too well organised, we were told we didn't need to book by the hotel but when phoning the restaurant they booked us a table and when we got there a very confused waitress just... We came down from the adjacent Premier Inn too late for breakfast. Staff re-opened the kitchen and cooked us two tasty and cheerfully presented meals.

I wasn't expecting much but was really surprised, the food was delicious and really well cooked. We ate in the soft play area- I ordered a mexican steak salad with steak done rare and it actually was rare which doesn't happen very often , lol The place looks to have been recently redecorated and was very clean and pleasant. The... More

Do not eat here .A complete shambles with nobody at the helm the staff are like headless chickens. The food when you do get served is nothing like the menu ...trading standards comes to mind. Wine glass covered in someone elses lipstick ! Filthy floor with split food trodden in.We only ate here as were staying at the Premier Inn... More

Ordered a 12oz rump steak, rare. When it arrived, it was cold as was the rest of my meal. I returned it to a waiter who said he would sort it out. A few moments later, he returned to the table to say that the only way they could heat it up would be to cook my steak to medium.... More

Normally I would say that the food is good value for money, not on this visit. I also think that there should be an alternative to chipes i.e. Jacket potatoes

Excellent service, good quality food, superb value for money. We were celebrating my grandson's third birthday after a visit to Paultons Park, perfect stop off on way home. Good selection of seating places and great for kids.

We stayed at the hotel next door. Nice food but always busy. We had breakfast which wasn't the best. We didn't actually get what we ordered and the staff couldn't cope with the amount of orders/people there. Expect to wait forever for a table/food
