Hard to judge this restaurant from this dinner, which was a set menu promotion for members of the Sequoia Spa on the Grove site, so not the usual format. No complaints at all about the food, which was imaginative and well prepared. The service was...More

As reasonably regular visitors to the grove hotel and the Glasshouse restaurant. We thought as we’ve not tried after all these years to have a meal at Colette’s On arrival one is immediately faced with a pretentious maitre d’ who showed us to a most...More

My husband and I went here last night and were hugely disappointed. The Grove is a lovely place but this restaurant is anything but up to standards. Upon walking in you come into a lounge which is decorated very nicely so you have high hopes....More

I went for birthday dinner. Food was good although the 5 course tasting menu at £85 was meagre and left you wanting. Atmosphere was dull and the dining room felt dilapidated and empty. Despite initial show of good service by an Irish gentlemen in the...More

The Grove is a lavish, Elizabethan country house hote located just 40 minutes from London that used to be the historical home for the Earls of Clarendon. Tucked away inside this splendid setting is the discreet and elegant Colette's restaurant, which is renowned for its three AA rosette worthy cuisine by rising star Head Chef Russell Bateman and award-winning wine list. With views over Charlotte's Vale, the 18th century dining room at Colette's - which was described by the hotel's architect Martin Hulbert as "groovy-grand" - has been restored with chic table settings, contemporary artworks and an understated vanilla and coffee colour scheme. Popular with chic city-dwellers and fashionable foreigners, Colette's has a modern European menu, and the restaurant regularly hosts wine evenings themed on iconic wine regions.
