This Westherspoons is of a great standard and has a new big beer at rear, only thing that would be better is moving the smokers from the front of the building and just have it in the new section at rear. But as for the premises its got a warm feel to it and you know your paying for what... More

Their breakfasts are never hot enough, the sharers are lovely, their set day meals are very filling😊 lovely place to go to after a long shift at work prices are very reasonable indeed ..and at last! The last two meals we had, nobody come to ask (after two minutes) is everything ok😁😁 which is the best part, to eat and enjoy!!

Dropped into the Dukes Head to try out the beers. About eight ales on with five usual and a few guests. Quite a good selection

Fish and chips afternoon deal. Well the fish ouzed water and was tasteless. The chips were dull in taste too. All in all a big disappointment. Even the fancy new "spoons" app failed to work. Cheap but not cheerful. At least the beer was first class.

Probably my overall rating should be somewhere between average and very good because the veggie burger, chips and onion rings were only average, but I wanted to praise the pub for catering for people with ethical or dietary preferences.
