From the outside it looks like a nice pub but never judge a book by its cover. The drinks are indeed cheap but so is the decor. The pictures on trip advisor seem to be slightly out of date. The key demographic seem to be young males.

The beer and ales are well kept and ales from Tring brewery and other brewers are very good. Kitchen has been closed for a while but due to reopen shortly I am told. The whole pub has been refurbished - not to my taste but it's OK. Last time I had a meal here the quality and portion size was... More

Popped in whilst passing time one weekday evening. Ordered a beer and coke, beer was ok but coke was served warm with no ice. When queried the last few cubes in the bottom of the ice pot were supplied. We sat in arm chairs which were dirty and sticky. Group of people openly swearing in conversation next to us. Staff... This place is known for its delicious steak. Also their menu is quite rich. Burgers are Also very good. They serve some local beer as well as many famous brands. Staff is very friendly. There is an outside terrace for the warm time of year.

Went here last night on recommendations' off Trip advisor and loved it! Cajun chicken burger was the best I've had & well presented, another in our party had the blackboard special Liver n Bacon and Scampi n Chips. All the food was very tasty and of generous sizes most meals around £8/10. We had fun with The Friday Night Fizz... More

Last time I visited it was more like a sports bar but now it is not unlike a country pub. It still shows sport but not with the sound so not intrusive. The real ale was from Tring Brewery with Brock Bitter, Side Pocket and my favourite which was Ridgeway. The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere.... More
