Wife and i thought we would have fish & chips after a walk along promenade. Put the usual salt and vinegar on. First chip on a wooden folk was raw in middle. Undercooked and disgusting. Would never go back. When trying to talk to person behind counter he could hardly speak english.

Stopped off to kill some time before a ferry back to the main land. The place is very small and almost doesn't warrant the rickety old metal table and chairs that lay within. The sausage and chips I had was pretty dry and tasteless. My colleague fish and chips was a little on the soggy side San the batter was... More

This place seems to get mixed reviews. We waited while both the cod and the chips were freshly cooked. Both were fantastic! Perhaps the bad reviews are where the food has been hanging around? Service was friendly, chips were brilliant, fish was a decent size . Great value for money.

Was having a wander around Cowes on New Year's Eve and a little peckish so hubby said lets grab some chips!! As we'd had tasty chips from another Totties before we thought we'd be ok. OMG how wrong we waited 15 minutes and they were the worst chips ever!! They were so bad even our dog turned her nose up.... More

My wife and I have been in the habit of returning to this Fish and Chip Shop most times when we visit Cowes. The Fish had always been fresh and the chips very crispy but whether there has been a change of management recently I don't know. The Fish and Chips that were sold to us on my last visit... More

I favour totties due to the style of chips they serve might not be everyones cup of tea but i love crispy chips, cant stand other local places selling greasy oil covered soggy potatoes... It could definitely do with a fresh look but i don't go there to admire the walls i go there for chips!

Only popped in for fish and chips. Served them in HALF trays, chips tasted like they were cooked yesterday and refried hourly every hour since. Fish was greasy and poor quality. This was Cowes week. Every other place was rammed. Totties wasn't. I now know why.

Best chips in Cowes for sure. We often go when its not too busy and the chips are usually cooked to order which is a nice touch. The chips are large and chunky which may not be to everyone's taste but I find them delicious. Fish portions are large and good tasting. The staff are polite but very quiet, I... More
