The Wheatsheaf has a warm and friendly welcome in a nice cosy pub atmosphere. There is a good range of drinks on offer and the food was a cut above your typical 'chain pub' offerings with good portion sizes. All the dishes we sampled were very tasty and everyone was satisfied. The staff were all very friendly and helpful which... More

Had lunch in here with friends. We all enjoyed our food; mains and puds were delicious. It was quiet in there so we could chat and the service was very good.

Nice clean pub, good range of food, good beer (according to the other half!) and nice atmosphere for couples or families.

We popped into this pub whilst passing and what a good decision it was! My wife had the Liver & bacon casserole and l had the Liver & bacon grill, well they were excellent, tasty and very large portions so large that we turned down the desserts. We will most certainly return.

Friendly staff, even though the pub was very busy and the service was very good. Food was nice and didn't think it was too expensive. Will definitely visit again.

Whilst touring on the Beer & Buses weekend we found ourselves in Yarmouth. Visited the Wheatsheaf (about 15 of us!) and were treated to a sumptuous meal. I was particularly pleased to be able to have a gluten free dish from the menu! The chicken skewers with pineapple salad AND chips - a rare treat!

Went here for a family meal and I had fish and chips with mushy peas. Big portion size, nice homemade chips but the fish was soggy in the middle and the peas were tasteless. Few people had burgers and the buns were hard and the meat was dry. To be fair it was a large table and all food came... More
