My wife and I dined here two evenings during our stay in June 2018. The Three Chimneys is located in the wonderful scenic countryside, has great ambiance -- plenty of beams, stone and fireplaces in the older part. The newer restaurant area to the rear...More

We eat and drink regularly at The Three Chimneys. It has a loyal following from locals and visitors to the area. I was surprised to read a disparaging review from a recent visitor from London. The thing with real country pubs is that they welcome...More

Stayed one night here and was very impressed by the spacious room and beautiful modern bathroom. The room was very quiet and had a nice private patio with seating. The pub itself is very charming, the dining room very tastefully decorated and excellent food. Had...More

Had a lovely meal with friends last week in the restaurant. Also good service. Only gripe was the lightening is not great. Also I am not reviewing the bar area - I have been before and find it too smokey from the fires, too much...More

We drove out to sample the apparent culinary delights of ‘Three Chimneys’. According to their accolade they are the proud winners of ‘Best Country dining pub’ which is a national award and they have secured this win for over a decade! Impressive stats! So we...More

Strange, I’ve been to this great pub many times and eaten lunch, particularly Sunday lunch, on many occasions....it’s probably one of the best pubs you can find. This time we went to a family meal in the evening, ate in the main restaurant....it didn’t disappoint....More

Visited for lunch and was delighted to find a lovely old- fashioned building complete with antique furniture, flagstones and log fires. The lamb was excellent here too!

Family visit specifically for the Sunday roast. My meat choice was lamb. Very tasty with gravy only the way British people can do it. As the main portions are huge there, pudding's were shared, to end this tasty dining experience

I rang ahead to check there would be gluten free and vegetarian food available. Three of my party chose the Sunday roast, but there was only one meat available which was odd. The roast was very tasty in fact. The rest of us lucked out....More

When last visited over 20 years ago, this beautiful historic pub seemed a remote rural hideaway. Now business is booming. It was struggle to find our way through the crowds to the restaurant, where it was clear our table booking had been essential. All was...More
