We decided to go here for our Sunday breakfast/brunch. We got here just after 10 and got the second to last big table by the window. There is a good variety to choice from to your traditional fry up to eggs benedict. The food was lovely and tasty and not greasy and the staff were nice and friendly. The only... More

Have visited this tea room on many occasions and have always had good service and food, but is a bit pricy. The staff are friendly. However this time I noticed a dog was brought in and I don't think dogs should be allowed inside where food is served as its not very hygienic. I will visit again and hope no... More

Always head for the quaintest popular meeting place with friends in Hythe for lunch or anytime of day, delicious food, coffee, various tea, delicious cake plus a lovely garden area, then back home to Yorkshire? ( after few days of course!)

The ambience, staff and food are absolutely great. Some of the tables and chairs are very uncomfortable and lots of people take the opportunity to move table when other patrons leave so that they can sit more comfortably. If Nutmeg sort out the comfort they would score a 5 in my book. Well done and thank you for some lovely... More

The decor is really lovely (although a little cramped). However, there is nothing amazing about this cafe unfortunately. Our order got messed up (not a problem) and the overall service wasn't that great. Food was average, I'd say theres nicer places to eat in Hythe. Its a shame because this cafe could be amazing.

Great coffee, well presented food but it appears there's a shrinkage in the amount you get. The prices are fairly high so one wouldn't expect this practice.

Went twice in two days during stay at Hythe Imperial Hotel. Lovely breakfast, very nice pizza for a lunch and cakes to die for :)
