You should always book as really busy even on Thursday night. Tom Yum soup was as good as ever. Honey Ribs tasty and beef in ginger main course was a great twist

We come from Whitstable and were very disappointed when the Shangri La Thai restaurant closed in our home town. We've been searching for a decent Thai restaurant ever since, having tried three in the Medway towns, two in Canterbury and one in Broadstairs. To be honest none of these come up to our expectations. We tried Yama's on Thursday as... More

Yamas is a firm favourite of ours - it never fails to disappoint! The food is fresh, tasty and authentic, I always feel like I'm transported back to Thailand whenever I eat here... great amount of options for vegans and friendly service :)

Simple but delicious menu. The food is cooked to order so really fresh. Really authentic Thai cooked with just the right amount of spice. Will definitely return.

Amazing food. Multiple options for vegetarians too. Small dining space but worth going for the food.

You can watch the chef prepare your dinner and the food is exquisite. It is a bring your own cafe and you can buy your drinks from the off licence across the road. Basic setting but worth a visit as the food is so good

Went here this weekend and... ...mixed feelings. Yama's looks nothing like a Thai restaurant, - bar the front-of-shop kitchen and tacky music, it's visually a greasy spoon; a cramped, dated and cheap-looking cafe; blackboard over a sandwich bar servery; crimped paper covering the tables like a child's soft play party's annex room; tables clustered to make those seated unable to... This little place at the top of the high street featured first class cooking from a very talented chef and was an absolute delight. The Tom Yum soup was one of the best we've ever had with a deep, rich flavour and the noodles and peanut sauce dishes were equally fine. All the generously proportioned dishes had a fresh, vibrant...
