Have been to Mr Bean a number of times to grab a coffee with the kids and also to do some work when my home wifi wasn't working. Always friendly and nice coffee and toasties.

We were en route to Rye and stopped in Tenterden for a coffee. There are a number of coffee shops and unfortunately we chose the wrong one. The one we were going to go to was full and we didn't have time to wait for a table so opted for this one. Two of us had coffee which was awful... More

It has saddened the management team to read your review. We are sorry you had a poor experience with us. Our hot chocolate, in particular, has great reviews but it was obviously not to your taste. I can assure you that we do not add salt to it. If you do ever have an issue, please let us know at... More

Found this coffee house by chance on a visit to Tenterden when we were wandering around the town. It looked nice so we decided to stop for a coffee and as the sandwiches and rolls looked so good we stopped to have lunch. The food was nice and would eat there again if we returned to Tenterden.

The coffee and hot chocolate were really hot which is a bonus. The danish was really large but wow it was amazing. There was no problem when we said we would share it they gave us two plates to make life easier for cutting it. Staff really friendly

Mr Bean became my favoured lunchtime chillout venue from my very first visit. The staff are chatty, friendly and altogether very welcoming and accommodating. Service is prompt and thorough even during busy times. They have a large portion reserved for the enjoyment of younger visitors (small children), ample seating, free (and fast) wi-fi and the food is reasonably priced and... More

No greeting or acknowledgement from the staff, It was busy but there seemed to be plenty of staff on duty. Quite a long wait for cheese on toast. The food was nice, very enjoyable. They have a nice varied menu at good prices; not sure if I'll return.

I pop in here occassionaly for coffee with my 2 year old, the play table for kids is great and buys me enough time to drink my coffee in peace! Staff always nice, and coffee good.

Very pleased with the freshness of the food and even thought it's mainly a coffee house, the tea was a good blend. Would use this establishment again when visiting Tenterden. The one fault was slowness in clearing tables.

My daughter and I popped in for hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a tea, we were then tempted to have a chocolate Danish and a warm cheese scone. Good value and so much friendlier than other coffee places in Tenterden will definitely be visiting again.
