Nice roast for £10 and small one for £5. Dark dining area with no window. Young inexperienced waitress started clearing before Mum finished eating. Tasteless strawberries (out of season) £5 for choc muffin looked straight out of packet into a bowl.

I was overwhelmed by the welcoming I received from the Landlord and staff, the fish pie I had was delicious and fulfilling, the beer top notch. Looking forward to when the Landlord finally gets to wear long trousers, it's cold how can you wear shorts?...More

After a superb lunch at the Witstable Oyster Co. we enjoyed good beers at this friendly pub. Attentive, friendly and helpful service.

My wife and i visit the ship every time we holiday in the area , good local pub serving good beer and good food , always made to feel welcome

Basically a local pub but with a great twist. Apparently german owned which shows in the great beers on tap and authentic bratwursts, schnitzel etc. Even goulash which of course is hungarian but any ex squaddie will tell you is everywhere in the fatherland. Proper...More

Right in the main street of Whitstable. Great pub with atmosphere. So many different beers, even get a pretty good meal.

Great pub, superb real ale, clean, tidy and always a friendly welcome. When the tv is on its mot overwhelming, its spot on. Always a venue I visit when I am in town, food is ok too.

No it doesn't but there are unloading bays opposite the pub on the high street.
