Popped in for a coffee late in the afternoon. Great relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Oh and did I mention the best giant crumpets ever! Crispy and dripping in butter...is there any other way? The cakes looked amazing too, hopefully I'll try one next time.

Whitstable isn't overloaded with good options for veggies, so when we left it a little late to grab lunch, options were severely limited. We stumbled across Tea and Times though and were pleasantly surprised. A good number of veggie lunch options available until late in the afternoon. The food was fresh and tasty and the coffee was very good. Limited... More

We stopped for coffees and hot chocolates and cake. All lovely. Huge portions of delicious home made cakes in a cosy environment. What a gem!

My girlfriend recently moved to Whitstable and so we quickly got to work at finding a good place to get a coffee and read a paper on lazy weekends. Have tried a few places in Whitstable but so far this is our absolute favourite. Great coffees (I especially like the Mint Frappucino) and amazing cakes. They also do a great... More

okaaay, so they might be a bit haphazard, yes.. but almost endearingly so. certainly couldn't say there isn't a very friendly vibe too..! and yep, they absolutely know how to make a delightful sandwich (think fresh bread aaand quality fillings) - and totally amenable to tailored requests.. this place just does NOT justify bad reviews.. come on, you're seconds from... Small tea room with limited space and small additional tables up stairs. We order coffees and toasted tea cakes, nothing to go wrong. Tea cakes arrived absolutely dripping in butter which made the tea cakes soggy yet still stale in parts. The coffees where served by a young man who did not speak or smile just pushing the coffees on... More

My aunt and I arrived late in Whitstable and found this place still making food at 4pm. The staff are just lovely and the food was really delicious. Decent prices too. We ordered toasted sandwiches which came with a fresh crisp colourful side salad. We couldn't fault it.. I shall deffo be eating there again.

Popped in for a late lunch after finding most cafes shut by 3pm in the town or not even open on a Monday. Ended up having 2 JPs little bit of a wait but when it came out it looked to die for!! Definitely all home made!! Staff were very friendly. Definitely be back again thanks

This is such a great place to eat, we had breakfast and sat upstairs with our newspaper and magazine with lovely jazz music in the background. The breakfast was good, husband had full English and I had toast both perfect, toast think local bread - scrummy! Going back in the morning for some more
