Best Sunday lunch I have tasted. Proper cooking, wonderful service with a great big smile. Two courses for under £10 fantastic value for money. This place could show expensive pretentious restaurants a thing or two. Will return definitely.

The Sunday Lunch Offer is absolutely superb value, at £9.95; for two courses of this quality is hard to match and the country location is just an added bonus with rare animals just across the road - where could you better this?

In a small country pub with a huge soul. They have just provided an absolutely fabulous half way to Christmas dinner for 90 in one sitting! The food puts big hotels and posh restaurants to shame. Thankyou Steve & Rachel Carroll it's been brilliant!!

Really enjoyed our meals here. The service was excellent as was the food. What a welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the landlady and staff. I had the chicken pate for starters......which had enough toast to go with it and a lovely chutney....More
