A very extensive menu, all choices made to order, we had haddock and chips, scampi and chips plus mans best friend - plate meat pie and chips with mushy peas!!!. all arrived piping hot and well presented. Lovely choice of desserts plus a great display of cakes and scones. Very... More

Visiting Gawthorpe Hall with friends on Easter Saturday, looked for somewhere for a lunch that was going to be around 2pm.and wasn't going to break the bank! This was a perfect solution and it couldn't have been better. The fact that they had sold out of some things just proved their popularity and the truth that they do work with... More

This is tucked away in the corner of the market square but its worth seeking out for the ice cream and the cakes. It's a super place to come after a walk up Pendle Hill. Thoroughly recommended!

Just off one of the car parks (?Market Street), this cafe isn't easy to find but it was worth finding. It doesn't look great from outside but as soon as we entered and saw all the home baking on the counter and comfort food on the tables, we knew we were in safe hands. We had a panini - roast... Just by Clitheroe Market Place this gem was very busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. The staff members are really friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of specials which are unusual and interesting. Served with quickly in spite of how busy it was. The food is locally sourced and freshly cooked. All is kept clean and neat. It's unpretentious... More

Normally have breakfast here on a Saturday. Today we had a late lunch. Excellent. The breakfast is always good and today's lunch was equally as good. We had the bacon ,Brie and mango wrap. Fantastic.

Visited for lunch, not knowing Clithero very well it took a bit of finding, it is by the market opposite the short stay carpark. We had toasties which were excellent and served with a fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. You order food at the counter, staff are very friendly and efficient. We will definitely go again when visiting Clithero. When... More
