Found on trip advisor to take my dad out for his birthday. The staff was pleasant, professional and well presented. The menu was based around Jamaican grill. Not too big a selection which meant it was all made well. I ordered a lamb parcel as a starter and was told it would take 15 minutes as it was made fresh... More

Lovely food and restuarant was well decorated. Staff very friendly and service wad quick and efficient. Website wasn't easy to find so think we looked at the wrong menu so was surprised when it was different when we arrived. Also not much choice on the menu, but not far off a 5/5 rating!

Home cooked food at reasonable prices never really had a problem! However went a few Sundays in a row for Sunday lunch to find had sold out! Also went earlier next couple of sundays to fimd the same problem. Apart from that friendly village pub with a great outdoor space.

Food: The actual food was delicious. I had a Jamaican lamb curry pot from the specials board. There wasn't a lot of choice on the menu, and the choices aren't your typical pub food, so make sure you check it out before you go. The meals varied in price from around £12 upwards, to about £20 for a steak. There... More

I love eating here- the food is lovely and surroundings are fab. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Although it's not cheap, I'd recommend coming here especially if it's for a special occasion, I can't wait to go back.

Visited here for the first time with my wife and two adult children on the Sunday prior to Christmas for lunch having ensured that at this busy time of year, I telephoned, spoke with the owner, who was very pleasant, but asked if we could arrive half an hour earlier than we requested, due to capacity etc. This was not... We were looking for somewhere to go in the area and thought we'd try Tripadvisor. A big thanks to all those who recommended the Ferryboat, we went and its was great. The food was lovely, The staff relaxed and ever so friendly. A real find, we plan on returning to try the Jamaican menu. Sells Real Ale as well.

We recently organised a surprise 60th meal at the Ferryboat for a large group of family and friends. The staff were very accommodating to our needs and opened on a Saturday afternoon for us so we had the venue exclusively. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Xmas and the staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough to help.... More
