This was our first visit to the Queens Head although it was highly recommend. We weren't disappointed the ambient is comfortable and classic, comfortable sofa's to sit on and have a drink whilst waiting for our table, and the food was fabulous, and the service first class.

My leaving do was held at The Queens Head. The meal was beautiful and piping hot even though there were 38 people in the party. Lots of fresh veg and all plates of food looked lovely, as well as tasted lovely. Thanks to all the staff

We calling in after seeing a small sign on the main road, it was not far to travel. We were pleasantly surprised, the car park was quite full, but we just got in. The menu and the specials board provided quite a selection, the staff were very helpful and managed to get us a table for lunch. I had the... More

We visited in time for the early bird special which is main course, desert and coffee for £15.95 from 6-7pm, if you miss this slot you can have the same offer as a late bird special for £17.95 from 7-8pm. The offer menu was very extensive with 10 different options. I had the game pie and my wife ha the... More

Just popped in for a drink....but then saw the specials board and decided to stay for a meal. A very good decision, we both had the gammon with fresh pineapple, chips and veg. Absolutely beautiful, the gammon was cooked to perfection, you could have cut it with a spoon! The sliced pineapple on top was seasoned and so tender I... More

The first thing to hit you is the décor, which is chinz wallpaper and decidedly old fashioned. But don't be put off as the service is great and the food is great. Right next door to the A17 but there is no noise from the road. Well worth a visit if you are passing.

The best meal we have ever been served in Lincolnshire, apart from the George at Stamford. Staff fantastic and very professionally represented.

We were on our way to Boston to visit a relative in hospital. We stopped by chance and were so pleasantly surprised. What a lovely place. Lovely bar Rae with tables and a roaring fire. A really welcoming group of staff. All so polite and helpful. The food was really great. I had the Fish Pie which was delicious. If... More

Spent News years eve celebrating here. Food was excellent and great fun. They must be careful when catering for large parties as this does effect the standard of the food. Been once since new year for lunch with friends and they can't wait to return.
