About
The Pheasant Hotel is a 16 bedroomed country hotel in the beautiful village of Harome in North Yorkshire. Overlooking the village pond the Pheasant's restaurant is open all year round to non-residents. In good weather, the Terrace overlooking the village pond is the perfect setting and the Conservatory, Bar and Lounge offer further non-weather dependent alternatives. Chef Patron Peter Neville is very much a hands-on chef who takes great pleasure in serving fresh, British food with an emphasis on locally foraged ingredients. With fields, river and woods only a quick hop over the garden wall there is no shortage of fresh finds and inspiration. Menus are heavily influenced by changing seasons and the best local produce available. The Pheasant is open to both residents and non-residents throughout the day, subject to planned closures owing to wedding party exclusive use.

A lovely stay at The Pheasant, the welcome was lovely and the bar area was very cosy with two fires. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Fully recommend staying here! We will be back

This is a delightful venue and you are made to feel special. The most delightful food and magnificent Wine List and service to match. Extremely busy and you will certainly need to book well in advance. Cosy lounges with proper fires, parking somewhat restricted but...More

We popped in here for a drink while staying in the village. It is a charming place. We had food from the bar menu and drinks. A lovely couple of hours spent here. Well worth a visit.

Very nice restaurant and lovely staff. Our group had mixed views about the food varying from good to very good but also some comments that the cost was well above average. It is a trip out to get here.

A wonderful setting, warm and sincere customer service, and one of the best meals we have ever had. This was our first visit to the Pheasant, but it certainly will not be our last.
