Whenever we are in Morpeth we always have lunch here as it's so friendly and such good value. There's an extensive menu with something to suit everyone. Roasts (there are at least 4 to choose from) are freshly cooked with 4 vegetables and service with a smile is very quick considering how busy they always seem to be. Spotlessly clean... More

We had a lovely Sunday Roast here yesterday and the price was very reasonable. It is a busy little restaurant in Morpeth tucked away down an alley off the main street. The staff are really friendly and once we found a table the food was served within a few minutes. I had lamb and my friend had pork which was... More

A small hidden gem in Morpeth. Small cafe that does meals housed in an Old Bakehouse that dates back to the 1800s. Lovely service, welcoming. Nice Sunday dinner at very affordable price. Dogs welcome in the garden area, great in warm weather but chilly in the cold.

Really friendly, warming environment and wonderful meals - we had a turkey roast at 10am! The prices are unbeatable, with genuine homemade food. Absolutely a must-go if you're hungry in Morpeth...!

It's not the biggest of places, but it has quite a number of covers. There is additional outside seating weather permitting. The menu isn't extensive, but all freshly cooked to order and very tasty. It was full when we found it, looking at the clientele it's a firm favourite with the older set. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite... More

Visit Morpeth every two or three months & we always lunch here. Service is friendly, helpful, & quick. We used to have to queue but they expanded into another room so we've never had to wait since then. They serve really lovely home cooked dinners. They do a good selection of food, but our favourite is mince & dumplings, especially... More

Great discovery - down a side alley off a main street - Welcoming friendly staff - Had breakfast there two days in a row as it was so good. Recommend scrambled eggs on muffin and stottie breakfast. Plenty of choices. Lunch choices looked amazing too.

cold windy day for our visit to Morpeth with our elderly Jack Russell dog. We were delighted to see a sign at the entrance of the passage indicating "dog friendly" - imagine the embarassment to be told we could not stay with the dog - the "friendly" bit is graciously allowing one to sit outside with a dog - hey,...
