This is a really nice establishment that serves great local food. The big let down though is that it is not dog friendly and is the only pub in the immediate area that does not accept dogs. Change this silly policy and it's 5 stars.

Nice busy pub but very small and very very cluttered with artefacts hanging all over the place, if fact too many in my opinion, no dogs are allowed in here either so won't be back.

The cabin was a bit cramped, but the main dining room was fully booked. Our server was excellent. He managed the room beautifully. The food was very good and plentiful. We enjoyed the evening.

We had a dinner inside, and a lunch outside. Both times above average pub food. The fish and chips were superb. Very friendly staff. Great views over the harbour.

Great food, great service and great price. Both my dad and I had the squid for a starter, which was delicious and a generous portion. The steak and ale pie main was lovely (pastry was great) and the staff were attentive and got everything spot...More

Even if only for a pint after a Farne Islands boat trip you have to visit this place which is FULL of character, where ever you turn there are quirky objects on display relating to the local sea heritage

Dogs are welcome in the garden area but the pub is too small for dogs I think.
