Unfortunately it appears we had dinner here on an evening when they were short staffed in the kitchen (we overheard a comment from the staff to some customers who were turned away). The building is lovely, the interior of the bar area quite cosy and the staff very pleasant, but we had to wait a very long time for our... More

Great restaurant, with small dining areas for almost private dining, great food and helpful staff. Excellent on a sunny day. We will be back.

Stayed overnight after a tutored Gin tasting. Room, while in new part of building, was very comfortable and immaculately clean, as was large bathroom. Food was generally very good: an excellent cheese platter for lunch ( Hereford Hop is amazing !), dinner was lovely though the item was led than warm in contrast with all the other staff we encountered.... We came with some friends and had a lovely evening by the open fire. Staff were very friendly. The gin collection is amazing and the staff are very knowledgable to help you try something new. We only ate a snack but the food looks nice and was not unreasonably priced.

The mission , to create a perfect Gin from a selection of botanicals under expert guidance. The botanicals were laid out on the table and I had to smell each one and decide whether I liked the smell and if it could be included in the final receipt. The botanicals were placed in groups of sweetness bitterness and blenders. The... More

We had a lovely meal at the Plough having first experienced blending our own gin. The gin blending was very interesting and entertaining under the guidance of a true gin master. We then moved on into the dinning room for a very enjoyable and delicious meal. Would highly recommend the gin blending or tasting followed by dinner for a very... More

I had supper with a group of friends on a Monday night. We all chose from the Christmas set menu and everyone enjoyed the meal. The Classic Christmas Meal was plentiful, the steaks were well cooked and all the puddings were yummy. We were very well looked after in a private dining room with cosy fire. The restaurant is recommended... More
