beautiful old boozer in the high street.Quirky furniture, excellent menu and delightful, young team even got a birthday treat though it was my first visit.preferred the old restaurant at front of the building rather than the modern dining room that looked more geared for functions

We met some American friends there who we hadn't seen for many years. The outside seating area was comfortable with overhead heaters. The food was really nice, nothing rushed. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Staff fun and friendly, service with a smile and always polite. It's reliably good with an good menu that's always current. Seating options in old part of pub vs new are not always offered but I'd always take the old more characterful option.
