Stayed at Exmoor House camp site at the weekend and booked a meal at the Bridge Inn. Great food. Good staff. Lovely seating outside to watch the world go by. Really good. Recommended.

Was highly encouraged by the reviews. Gorgeous location, friendly staff. Succint menu- we went for the burger and were not disappointed. Beer ok price wise Mega let down- being physically elbowed out of the way at the bar (not busy) by a male patron, who when questioned advised I 'F off back to where you came from' (not British). Really... More

The pheasant burger and the pheasant and pork pie must be tried! Although the pheasant is a bird you see it everywhere in Exmoor, not too many restaurants serve a dish made with this sort of meat.

Look no further! If you are lucky enough to get a table then the food is excellent. Quick snack then have the scotch egg and a side of onion rings. The beer is excellent. The Guinness equals the quality of Drinking it in Ireland. Great landlord and the staff are so friendly. The best pub on Exmoor.... YES!

Visited at 1p.m. on a Monday and the bar was heaving but they managed to fit us in on a side table for two. Excellent choice on the menu - they have won awards for their pies but we both opted for one of the days specialities. Tenderloin of pork served with apple cheese, dauphinoisse potatoes, al dente fresh veg... More

Always the first place we stop for refreshments on our trips to the south west. This is a really easy pub to review: Surroundings: Idyllic Service: Friendly Beer: Excellent (Exmoor is a good pint plus guests) Food: Great Good in both summer, winter and anywhere in between. Oh and just in case you are from Sheffield they even have Hendo's!

This lovely pub is a very popular venue and was extremely busy when we arrived but a table was promptly cleared for us.We didn't have to wait very long for our meal to arrive which was both piping hot and very tasty. Despite being so very busy were treated with courtesy and nothing was too much trouble.
