the four of us visited on a Saturday evening. We were all excited by the special starter which was rare beef with lemon. The dish was ruined by the over powering taste of lemon juice which led to not being able to taste the beef. It was presented nicely but small and an estonishing £9 each. We all had sirloin... More

we wrang on three separate occasions to be double shure that they had a quiet room ,as were very light sleepers, and the answer was yes we have so imagine our shock when we arrived for my 65th birthday treat and enter the room and hear the kitchen extractor fan going at 4,30 in the afternoon so straight down staires and... The food we had was in a different galaxy to anything you could normally expect from a pub, or any eatery charging these quite remarkable prices. Everything we had was simply outstanding, all based on fresh, strong flavours: a board with game terrine, pig's cheek croquettes, ewes mile cheese with herbs etc (with a wonderful bitter leaf salad made on... We just stayed in night, Room 7, but agreed it had everything you need in a good pub stay. Good bed, great shower room, clean, all things you need in a modern room (plug sockets excellent!). The staff here were without exception enthusiastic and efficient; the food - we had an evening meal as well as a great breakfast -... More

A lovely pub serving excellent food. Good range of dishes to choose from and good service. Popular so would advise you book in advance. Also a great place to meet friends just for a drink. Good for parties. Will definitely return soon.

So I visited a few months ago with work colleges and I was so surprised when I saw a full rack of ribs for £9.95 it was seriously the best price I've seen for them as they are my favourite! So I ordered them and our food was out very quickly and hot, I love a hot plate for my... More

Stayed for one evening at this lovely cozy pub which is situated in an excellent location. Somerton is a lovely picturesque town. Room was small but well appointed with comfortable king size bed and amazing toiletries. If I were to stay here again I would probably ask for a larger room overlooking the market square. Food was good and staff... More

We took our family here as a thank you for all their hard work helping us move. After getting stuck behind a Carnival Float from Glastonbury for half an hour we arrived very late for our table of 8 but the staff were not fussed at all. All bar one had the Roast Dinner varying from the triple, to the... More

Service that never disappoints and a venue that grows on you more and more every time we return. I enjoy my time here more than any other hotel. Quality of care from the staff means that the food, rooms and hospitality are all way above anything else in its price range. The White Hart in Somerton. It'll never let you... More
