During our 3 days at Alton our group of 11 visited explorers pizza and pasta buffet on the 27th May 2017 we were asked how many of us there were and because there wasn't a table for 11 we were happy enough to split between 2, we sat down at our tables and was asked if anyone had any food... More

I have been here a couple of times now and love it. It is good value for money and gives you the chance to rest inbetween all the rides. Unlimited pizza and drinks for £12.95 (if I remember rightly) is definitely a bargain.

Visited for the first time. I thought as a proper buffet restaurant it will have a huge variety of food. I was a bit disappointed by the choices. They had only 2 veggie pizzas and 2 pasta dishes, a few salads and that was it. The pizza was ok, but the pasta could've had more salt or seasoning. It was... More

If you like pasta and pizza then this is the place to lunch. Different varieties of pasta and pizza and a variety of salads. Pizzas are delicious and not the cheap variety often on offer in theme parks. Grandson had several helpings of pasta so that's a good recommendation in itself! 12.95 per adult for all you could eat and... More

Been Alton towers a few times and not been to the explorers pizza and pasta buffet until today and I will definitely be coming there again . Really good price to say where it is located. Good choice of food and it is always fresh and super tasty and piping hot as well.

Food was good and at great prices. Staff were a little few and far between but this place was packed. I certainly will be back for a 3rd visit

Lovely tasty and fresh food. The pizza and pasta was replenished all the time. There was a great variety of pizza but not so much variety of pasta. The salad was also lovely and great quality. Very impressed with the food. However, the toilet facilities are very disappointing, considering the high standards of the toilet facilities around the park the... More

Great food at the pizza and pasta buffet. A variety of pasta, pizza, drinks and salads in a well themed, pleasant restaurant. Plenty of choices for vegetarians too! It is reasonably priced and Merlin pass holders get 20% which makes a difference. Food was of high quality.

As the path to the restaurant is closed and the sky ride not working , getting to the pizza place is a massive trek!! But we tried to find better and the rollercoaster restaurant was packed and massively over priced, and the courtyard food place was closed down. Lots of the outlets have gone and there was nothing vegetarian unless... More
