We visited the windmill over the bank holiday weekend. Food was great, reasonable wait considering it's all cooked to order. It was a fairly busy day as the weather made for quite a few outside as well as in the bar so service was a...More

We have just got back from the pub this bank holiday Monday - we had to wait about an hour and a half for our food and there weren't that many people there. Eventually the food came and one dish was wrong - we had...More

I’m a very fussy vegetarian, and not a massive fan of Sunday roast. We popped in today since we were child free for a rare afternoon, for a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some food. I didn’t like the idea of the mushroom vegetarian roast...More

They serve properly home-made meals. Very good selection of drinks from lighter ones to very heavy ones, and the touch of how they care about the guests (mostly locals) makes the hidden gem an amazing place to be. The fact, that it has local atmosphere...More

An excellent old country pub. Warm welcome on a cold day. Comfortable with friendly staff and very good food at fair prices.

Visited here for a few drinks with my partner and son on a Sunday evening. Very warm welcome and a perfect pint of kronenbirg. Very old and pretty pub. Locals seem very friendly. Not over expensive either. We shall return

Nice quaint pub, refreshing to see non-corporate/chain pubs still around. Wonderful gardens with plenty of seating and loads of room for energetic children to run around and play hide and seek. Very pleasant deck, planted with some huge sunflowers and other bedding - very pretty.
