I stop here a lot when I'm passing through the area. There is something for everyone here. Dark chocolate, Milk chocolate, and Sugar-Free chocolate. They also have a diverse selection of souvenirs; food-based and also country charm items in many formats.

I might be stepping on some people's toes with this review because Coon's has been around for a long time and will probably be there a lot longer because everyone loves candy and they have a steady stream of customers on highway 23. My guess is that most of the people are just passing through and that not many are... More

We were greeted with a sample of delicious homemade toffee and enjoyed the store very much. The owners were very social and easy to chat with! We've driven by a few times before, so I'm glad that we finally stopped in. You should too!

Located just off of US 23 between Marion and Upper Sandusky. it i easy to get off and on to 23 to make a quick stop here. Walk in through the front door and it is, for the most part, candy to the right and souvenirs to the left. First thing in the door I was greeted and offered a... More

This place has really great candies- especially chocolate- and is a nice stop to breakup long drives on US23. It's easy to miss because it appears rather suddenly on the side of the highway, so watch for signs and if you plan to go, it wouldn't hurt to Google Streetview it first; I would have missed it if I hadn't... While driving from Detroit to Columbus, we saw this place and mentioned stopping on the way back. I am glad we did. There is a wide variety of homemade candy to choose from...toffee and buckeyes are their specialities...all at a good price. My wife's only disappointment is that there was no true dark chocolate.

I drove by this place for years before finally going in. Since then, my kids always ask to stop when we're passing through on US-23...and they're 15-21 now! Not really a restaurant, but I guess it's the closest TripAdvisor category. Great selection of home-made candies (including sugar-free), jellies, pies, vintage candies, popcorns and gifts. They also have a clean bathroom!... More

I really wanted to like them more. We stopped on the way home from a Michigan trip. Lots of prepackaged candy and some really overpriced chocolates. The candy was alright but not worth the stop. After passing this at least 20 times and not stopping I was disappointed.

This could be listed here or as an attraction. It is a chocolate candy and fudge store located north Of Marion, OH on US 23. It is very similar to Dietsch Brothers in Findlay, OH which we can review on here only without the ice cream.
