Dinner on Saturday night. Pricey but worth it for the experience of dining in such impressive medieval (style!) surroundings. Staff were friendly, fun, attentive and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The food wasn't the best of the best but was delicious nonetheless. We had quail for starter, cod and lamb for main, then souffle and shortbread as desserts, with... More

Lovely surroundings, beautifully lit, well chosen wines and good food, except for the fact that I did have an upset stomach the next day. This I had to put down to perhaps the seafood not being as fresh, or its not being kept chilled for as long as it should, since my husband and I had exactly the same food... More

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. The setting is delightful, the food is better than excellent, the staff are lovely.

The surroundings and ambience are beautiful, the staff are lovely and very attentive, the lunch was a bit disappointing as the food was only warm and the dessert was nothing like sticky toffee pudding as it was cold and more like bread pudding, furthermore we were not the only people to express this opinion!!!

Bailiffscourt is a beautiful venue for a Sunday Lunch. The set menu is good value, but the wines are a little on the expensive side. I took my husband on his birthday so that we could have a quiet lunch together. This was spoilt by the waitress who asked 8 times if everything was OK. I wouldn't normally have counted... More

Not only the place where is located is absolutely stunning but you are greeted by a fairy tale entrance surrended by beautiful trees where few hams hanging from the branches slowly mature in the sea air . A very friendly and helpful staff made a wonderful experience to have lunch with few of my friends. The food was excellent ,... More

We have eaten in the elegant Tapestry Restaurant with its crisp white tablecloths and well-spaced tables on many occasions and also outside in the delightful little courtyard and have always had wonderful food and excellent, friendly service, particularly from a number of French waiters. The menu is always interesting and changed on a daily basis. We have also had a... More

The hotel and spa buildings are very charming and photogenic, you get the feeling of going somewhere special. Inside you get the feeling that you are stepping back in time and so it is strange to find that the place was only built in the previous century. But it definitely does not feel fake or contrived. It does however scream... More

I contacted the hotel re an upcoming Anniversay booking, I found the staff not very helpful and e-mailed the manager who sent a defensive msg back. Won't be booking.
