My wife and I dined at your restaurant last night for Valentine's Day. This is the first time that either of us had been to The Leconfield and decided to both have the Taster menu. The food throughout we could not fault and it was tasty and enjoyable. We have dined at Michelin starred restaurants and the food at your... More

Lovely atmosphere and superb restaurant. Food was delicately served and well presented. Slightly disjointed service and that could be improved. Food delicious

We have used the Leconfield several times as we live in the next village. The food and service have always been excellent on every visit. A Friendly welcome, and friendly staff who are always attentive.Dont expect low prices, good food and service in lovely surroundings do come at a price, but that price is not unreasonable, you certainly get value for your money.... Excellent lunch today chosen from the set menu. We had parsnip soup and grilled feather blade. Both courses were fabulous... I do wonder how the chef managed to get such wonderful deep flavours ! I noticed there wasn't a veggie choice on the set menu, although this was offered on the al a carte menu. They presented a lovely surprise... More

Whilst clearly a very high end restaurant we found the service very poor for a family birthday. Whilst the starter was very prompt we were left waiting at least 45 minutes for our main, only to have a waitress come over and tell us she hadn't put our order through to the kitchen. We were offered one free bottle of... More

We had lunch on a Saturday and were glad we had booked since it was full. The place is light and roomy, beautifully furnished in a rather understated way, and the tables are placed well apart. We ate a la carte and everything was delicious, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. We had a problem... More

This was our second trip here. Had the tasting menu which has 5 dishes plus they gave us canapés, selection of delicious breads and petits fours. £45 but worth every penny. Really excellent food with top service. A special night out.

We went in for a late lunch on a Friday and got a lovely table at the back over looking the terrace. Great atmosphere, attentive but relaxed staff, fantastic food and wine for a fair price means we will definitely be going back for more. Couldn't fault it and highly recommend it.

I had a lovely lunch at The Leconfield. My husband and I had an early lunch and hadn't booked. The staff were very accommodating and sat us straight away. They were very friendly throughout and efficient. We ordered the taster menu and each course looked beautiful and tasted great. Even the butter with the bread was good! I will be... More

Lovely atmosphere, comfortable table and chairs, very good food and friendly service. The only thing that could be improved was the speed of bringing the puddings and coffee. We had to wait quite a while, which was a little tricky for the children, but definitely worth it in the end as the food was truly delicious. Many thanks for a... More
