Food is always great here, generous servings of toppings on the pizzas and the pizzas are a good size. Always cooked well and delicious. Most recently we went for lunch and it was very busy (cruise ship in town) so getting served took a little bit longer than usual but the staff were all very nice and we're really trying... More

Went here for dinner first night in Burnie. The menu had lots of choices with an Italian theme. The meals were a good size. Two of us had the chicken parmigiana and struggled to finish the meal.

I ate here by myself last week on a business trip - and it was not too bad - but not too great. Staff were very friendly, the young gentleman that served me was very helpful. The food was OK - I had a chicken pizza - it was almost too much - I love the thin pizza where the... More

We recently ate dinner at Mecca while visiting Burnie, and ordered pasta dishes. The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long for it to come out. The restaurant itself was fairly noisy (we were there on a Saturday night though), but given we enjoyed our meals, we'd eat there again, if passing through Burnie

Mecca is a place you can go, where you know you will get nice food. Casual dining throughout both the day and night. There is a large selection of meal choices to suit the whole family. The service is reasonable along with the prices. Set in a refurbished old hotel, the pressed metal panelling is still present.

I only go here if I'm invited to a party I can't get out of. Food and service is poor. Each time I've eaten here along with many other people we all complain how horrid it is. It's also very cramped and noisy. The first time my hubby and I dined here the waitress made me cry as I wanted... More

Friendly, fast and efficient service paired with great quality food that is not overpriced. A wonderful, local dinning experience. If I had any criticism, it would be that the tables could maybe be spaced out a little more. We felt like we were sitting on the lap of a gentlemen dinning next to us.
