Wee had lunch here. The food was great and the price reasonable. The log fire was great to sit around even in summer.

We were really looking forward to our stay here, as an expected highlight of our two weeks in Tasmania. From the ‘welcome’ from the chewing gum receptionist we were disappointed - every step of the way. Our cabin, although paid as luxury, was basic with...More
Nice casual atmosphere. Vegetarian burger was excellent. Pasta were a bit over-cooked but both carbonara and bolognese were nice. The fish is flaky (from the fish and chips). Good selection of local beers. Menu for lunch and dinner is the same.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner in the tavern. Meals were pub style but very tasty and filling. It got pretty busy so recommend booking a table.
After doing the wonderful enchamted walk we decided to stop for a bite here. Great food, huge servings and the fish was absolutely delicious. We loved the beers on tap and the cosy fireplace taking centre stage. Real family atmosphere, relaxed and warm.
