Couldn't book here so we arrived at 5.30pm so our group of 17 could all be seated at one. Blanked completely on arrival by the two waitresses who knew we were waiting to be seated. When we told them 17 - "move your own tables together sit were you like MATE! was the response. Same menu for breakfast/Lunch/Dinner with a... More

Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered, kids pasta, Fish and Chips, Seafood antipesto platter and braised pork belly. Apart from a warmish pork belly (not as hot as expected - may have been reheated), we we happy with the meals. Desserts were wonderful though. Prices were normal, albiet a little pricey...would return again though.

After travelling to the Freycinet National Park we arrived at the Freycinet Lodge looking for a true Tassie seafood experience. Ordering the antipasto seafood platter we were assured by the waitress that it would feed two. Upon arrival of the platter we were surprised to see 2 oysters, 2 prawns and 4 pickled out of a jar mussels but a... More

We arrived for a late lunch just as a bus tour group was leaving and the place looked like a bomb had hit it. It was the holiday period and the staff appeared pretty stressed trying to keep up with demand, get the tables cleared etc. The four of us nabbed an outside table overlooking the water which was quite... Richardson's provides much better than expected food for a national park facility, and at very reasonable prices. We also were very impressed with the extremely helpful and accommodating attitude of the Lodge's food services manager. We didn't catch his name, but he made every effort to make sure we had something to eat on Christmas day, when just about everything... More

Staying in the lodge this was a logical place to go. They serve the usual bistro food like burger or fish&chips, but there are also daily specials. Its zelf ordering and direct paying at the counter. Also good desserts. When zitting outsides there are nice views over the bay

We ate here a couple of times and were very happy with the food we ordered (beer battered flat fish, black angus burger, beef cheeks etc.). Good quality, a little pricey but friendly staff who were keen to help. The bistro itself looks a little ordinary but sit out on the deck to enjoy the spectacular view.

Basic menu, bistro food. Good quality and size of portions and not expensive. Staff friendly but more relaxed style of serving than the more formal restaurant. It was great sitting looking out over the water.
