Is located a few kilometres out of town, heading in the direction of Port Arthur. We were told by friends that the Tayberry Jam is to die for! You can pick your own fruit, there is a wide variety dependant on the season of course. Lovely coffee avail as well as jars of delicious fruit jams.

Was looking forward to a fun fruit picking experience but was dissappointed. Only apples, nashi pears and strawberries for picking. The apples were not very nice to eat-with a thick skin, small and not sweet. So we picked more nashi pears (very small nashi pears-slightly bigger than ping pong balls). Also picked strawberries which were also quite small. One big... More

Had a fun day picking cherries. Smallest cherries ever seen but sweet. Some other berries also available.

This is my first experience in fruit picking. We were given two plastic container to fill up with fruit, either strawberries, peaches or nectarines and/or cherries. We opted to pick cherries. The orchard is very large and the cherries on the trees are well out of reach. Hence, we lowered the branches and with great effort we could fill our... More

After visiting the Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, we headed to Sorell, hoping for a more comprehensive farm picking experience. Although the variety is wider, the fruits were not as enticing as the first farm we visited. Most of their fruits had been smashed or eaten by insects (which is a plus point, meaning no insecticide). Nevertheless, the experience was not... More

We enjoyed our stop at the fruit farm where we decided to have lunch. The food was well presented and tasted great. The salad dressing tasted so good we took away some of the fruit vinegars made on site. We would happily stop by again.

I've taken the kids here a few times both just to pick fruit and to dine in. I always find it quite expensive. I don't agree with an admission fee. The fruit can be hit and miss. Dining in is nice enough (quaint is the word that springs to mind) but I just find most things there a little over... More

The highlight of our previous visit to Tasmania for my fruit-loving husband. This year Once again plenty of beautiful ripe fruit to pick, and very tasty citrus tart at the cafe.

We didn't pick fruit as there were mainly apples for picking when we got there but had a very nice coffee and scones. The lady couldn't have been friendlier and we were treated to quite A LOT of tastings of jams, chutneys and liqueurs- all of which were delicious. She was also very helpful and knowledgable on the area and... More
