Three of us visited Touchwood Cafe at lunchtime and were impressed with the quality of food. We had the Parsnip and Pear soup with GF bread, the Avo Mash with poached egg and the Apple & White Chocolate Muffin with Caramel Sauce and Yoghurt, all served with our choice of coffee and tea. We all agreed our food was tasty,... More

We went into the shops first, where they have quality Tasmanian products and then we discovered the café at the back. Good coffee and cake.

We visited Stanley in mid March and had been recommended to us to have Devonshire Tea at Touch Wood. Well we weren't disappointed, lovely greeting as we entered and taken to our table. The scones, jam and cream and fruit scones were enjoyed by our group. Need to go again and try the lunch menu.

Called in for afternoon tea, between us we had the plain scones, the date scones and a berry and white chocolate muffin. The scones came with home made raspberry jam and thick clotted cream. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely tasty light lunch (Chicken Vietnamese Salad and Open Lamb Burger) and the gift shop had the best local gifts in the area!

The service was friendly and effecient, the coffee and scones ,jam, and cream to die for. Can't rave enough... More

You will find this place off the main street of Stanley a short way down a little laneway. When you enter the Cafe you have a nice high view of the town and Tatlow's Beach. Decor and furniture of the Cafe is basic. We were there for lunch. The soup at $10 a small bowl was nothing special and the... More

Had a flat white and carrot cake. Very nice indeed but $8.50 for a slice of cake with a bit of cream was a bit too much. Free WiFi and good views in the conservatory style seating was good
