You definitely need an entree and a main. Nice view, but can't spend time there as we couldn't afford to drink there. Unfortunately everything is crazy priced, beer included. It's actually cheaper to drink the mini bar beverages than drink a schooner at the local pub. If the food and beer prices were less, I'm sure more people would spend... More

We ended up eating here two nights in a row. We tried other places on the second night but, without a booking, it's difficult to get in anywhere else. The staff were friendly and the food was good. My husband had the bourbon glazed pork on the 2nd night and was blown away. I loved the lamb and veg pie.... More

We were seated quite quickly at this well situated restaurant but things rapidly began to unravel. As five uniformed staff wandered around the restaurant it was unclear what their role was. And then it was revealed - it was to assure us that 'Lance' would be over to take our order once it was our 'table's turn'. Four separate waiters... More

This pub is nestled in the beautiful little town of Strahan. It has potential to be excellent as there is very little competition around, but alas it is very unremarkable. Food was rubbish, nothing much for vegos and even the meat dish hubby ordered was bad. Drinks were overpriced and atmosphere lacking 😟

Average food but very overpriced. Nothing wrong really just 2 very chewy steaks and frozen style chips with a $100 price tag!!!

Although busy the food left a little to be desired. The balance of kitchen staff to front of house needs to be looked at. Value for money was poor.

Centrally located on The Esplanade, the menu has many different items to choose from, but choose wisely as the dishes that come out of the kitchen are poles apart in taste and quality. The Seafood Fettuccini was nice but the Jungle Curry was on the other end of the spectrum. The most disappointing part was that you could upgrade the... More

Hi limeclaw Thank for your review and feedback. The Jamaican jungle curry is made from scratch and does not use frozen vegetables, I do agree there needs to be more chicken and I have passed your comment onto the team to implement. regards Brad Coelho More

Great location in the waterfront and quite a good selection of Tassie bets on tap, including Boags Wizardsmith. We visited on boxing day and it was quite busy. Most staff were friendly though a few were a bit frazzled. Entree of squid was delicious but both tuna and pork were very over-cooked and dry. Simple dishes simply cooked bad. Shame.

Hi Rhys83 Thank you for taking the time to post your review and for providing us with your feedback. Being one of only two restaurants open on boxing day meant we feed over 250 people in three and a half hours. As a result this put enormous pressure on the team. I do apologise for your experience and do hope... More
