Stayed in Swansea two nights, ate here both of them because it was so good the first time around. Had two completely different meals both nights, scallop and prawn linguine and beer battered scallops the first night - both dishes were delightful!! A seafood pizza the second - just as delicious!! Service was excellent both nights and the wine was... More

Enjoyed a delicious seafood feast at the lovely salt shaker cafe. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable about the delicious menu and wine list. We enjoyed ocean views as we dined on entrees of calamari, seafood chowder and pate. My partner loved the scollop pie and I enjoyed the quinoa crumbed fish and veggies. There were also some delicious options... More

Stopped in Swansea for morning tea, found this place. What a treasure to be hidden away in Swansea. Perhaps its not to the locals, but it was a gem of a find for us travellers. Only had coffee and cake, but so worth it and cakes to die for. Great Coffee, and cakes. Lovely views from our outdoor table over the bay.

I am to understand that the Pizza shop next to Saltshaker Restaurant is part of the same business, if I am wrong I stand corrected. We checked out the menu and decided on their "Gourmet" seafood pizza which listed prawns, scallops, calamari, mussels, white fish and anchovies. Sounded pretty good to us, so later in the day my husband went... More

Stopped here for lunch on our drive to Hobart. It was a glorious day and the balcony over looking the water was very inviting. Service was friendly and prompt. The views lovely and the seafood chowder was very nice.

We had a group of six at Saltshaker for a delicious lunch. The favourites amongst the group were the seafood linguini and the seafood chowder. We had a lovely couple of bottles of rose; it was great to see so many local wines. Lovely service and a nice outlooks

Bit of a mix-up with booking but still managed to sort me a table. Great view. Had some oysters which were some of the biggest I'd ever had. Main had seafood pasta which was good. Good customer service and some good local beers and wine.

We had pizza takeaway from here. Although the staff were lovely, our over priced 'gourmet' pizzas definetly weren't 😞

Saltshaker pizza & café has two separate sections. The Café is very airy & great views comfortable seating inside and outside. The view over the ocean and pier is beautiful and peaceful. The staff are very friendly, the food is quick and delicious. In the evening the pizzas are cooking and its very popular.

At Saltshaker Café and Restaurant we cater for breakfast/lunch and dinner dining in our restaurant ... .To compliment our offerings, enjoy your meal or drinks on the deck overlooking the bay towards Freycinet and The Hazards. On a calm sunny day, watch the fisherman launch and retrieve their boats - a popular and sometimes a very entertaining experience. On a full moon night, the reflections on the water are stunning. Both the Restaurant and Café are fully licensed so enjoy a selection from our beverage or wine list while you take in the view.If you're planning to enjoy our dining experience, be sure to reserve a table. we have now expanded our deck to take another level, offering seating outside for around 60 people. we also specialise in gourmet and regular pizza's open till late for take aways, or during meal times. If nothing else, be sure to do some "Decktime" at Saltshaker .... you won't be disappointed.
