This was our first visit. We've been disappointed in the poor BBQ locations in Ohio after being spoiled by places like Sonnys in the south. But Famous Dave's has saved us! LOVED their sauces (watch out for the revenge sauce!!). We tried the feast and it was all good, but too much. Next time we'll focus on the best part,... More
When I ordered the Famous Feast at Famous Dave's BBQ, I wasn't sure what to expect and THEN...Chad our wonderful waiter came out with our FEAST on the underside of a metal garbage can lid, lined with red checkered liner paper...on the paper was chicken, a full slab of ribs, beef brisket, cole slaw, corn cobbettes, muffins, baked beans, fried... Seated promptly and our server was personable and spot on with drink and food. The burnt ends appetizer was outstanding. Main course barbecue meal was excellent. An added bonus was the discovery of Schlitz on the beer menu. This is a very hard old time brew to find in restaurants and stores. 16oz for a reasonable $2.50.
I have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed my meal. It's not the BEST BBQ I've ever had, but it is still very good. I always get a rib and chicken combo with baked beans, mac and cheese and corn bread. The corn bread muffins are so yummy! Everything is always very good and I enjoy the variety... More
We had dinner here when visiting the area. I love ribs and was not disappointed. I had a full rack of ribs (dry) and tried the variety of sauces that are served table side. Some were too sweet and some were hotter that all get out. A good selection. The ribs were perfect fall of the bone. Ate the whole... More
Such a good smoke pit smell from outside. But the food overall was mediocre, nothing to write home about. Best dish was burnt ends, but half of them were dry and it felt like I was chewing on rubber. I like fall off the bone ribs, the st louis ribs I had were chewy. They had no smoke ring on... More
Had lunch here and was not disappointed. We each had something different and liked it. My friends had the chicken tenders with fries and the grilled chicken with corn and fries. I had the pulled pork with the garlic mashed potatoes and the creamy slaw. We all thought it was tasty and filling. Our server was great. The portion sizes... More
My husband and I went on a Friday evening. The service was great. The food was amazing (AS ALWAYS) and the beer deal was the icing on the cake.
