We passed Annabell's driving between Salem and Alliance Hospital. We finally stopped after a long day. It was as deary as visiting our sick person... nothing a bit creative...the place and food were all "brown" ; food was overcooked. We felt like we were stepping back into the 1980's.

I had one of the Greek salads with pita and it was amazing. I am particular when it comes to salads and they even accommodated with a few special requests. Best salad I've had at a restaurant. Also had strawberry rhubarb pie, and it was very good as well. Friendly service. Will definitely be back when in the area again.

My wife was away so I went out for dinner. I was like like diner food. I had the Amish Swiss Steak. A piece of meat, a scope of mashed potato and unseasoned green beans. Would not recommend it. They say the breakfast is good. Was hoping for home made.

Had the Rodis Greek Chicken Salad which was awesome. Loved the Greek dressing. Came with delicious pita bread. Enjoyed a cup of chili which was the best chili I've ever had. Met one of the owners, Suzi. Friendly, sweet gal who knows the regulars by name. I would highly recommend Annabell's!!! Had a great time. Can't wait to go back.

Traditional menu, with a few twists. Stopped on a whim and waited 10 minutes for a table. Looks like an old-time steak house inside with comfortable booths and tables. We sat at the counter. Husband had a very nice looking hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. I enjoyed a fried egg and bacon sandwich - nothing extraordinary but tasty.... More

This is the best home cooked food in Salem. It is worth a few extra miles if you are in the area. Hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy is the best anywhere. Salads are homemade and excellent. Atmosphere is comfortable. Locally owned.

I want something special when I go out. Not something easily made at home.... There are too many options right down the street that offer more value for the same price. service is average to below average.

Went here after a visit to Noah's Lost Ark based off reviews here and on Yelp. I mean. Choices are limited. When we walked in I had visions of Robert Irvine screaming in my head about the carpet on the floor. Carpet and dark tables and paneling aside this was a sweet little place. Definitely old school and small town.... More
