Good place to eat. Rather noisy, but the food is good. If you like peanuts, you can eat as many as you want.

First off, our waitress Payton did a very good job. Our food however was a slightly different story. Ordered prime rib and it was sent to our table looking more like an overcooked pork waichop. I notified our waitress and she returned it to the kitchen. Shortly after a manager came to our table with her deepest apologies and told... More

I have eaten at the Springfield, OH Texas Roadhouse well over 20 times since it has opened. Staff is generally very helpful; food is good; the price is reasonable. Best value is the early dinner deal during the week. They have some great specials then. The two weak points: noise and a little dirty. The place can be loud. The... More

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night, and were not surprised to find it crowded. It took about 30 minutes to get seated (not bad for a Friday evening), but then it was about 30 more minutes before our order was taken, and another hour before our order was served. No one apologized for the delays and no explanation... More

It was a Saturday evening about 5:30 so we called ahead. They took our name and told us it would be an hour. We enjoyed playing games at home for that hour instead of waiting in a crowded hallway. When we arrived, we had time for a few peanuts before being seated. Employees were all friendly and helpful. Amongst our... More

PROS: * good food with many items (like sauces) made in-house * fast, friendly service * good location * ample menu choices CONS: * loud, difficult to carry on conversations * some items priced too high for what you get We don't go out to eat a chains too often, but Texas Roadhouse does happen to be one we like.... We had tried out Logan, Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Texas was 1st hands down although hard to get into at regular eating time on most nights. One of our visits my steak was awful. We talk to our waiter and he took it back and the second one came out perfect but the nice thing about it The manager came... More

Because it's always busy, we sit at the Bar to eat. We started with the bacon cheese fries, they were crispy and hot. Yum! I got the steak kabob with apple sauce and green beans. The steak was cooked medium rare and done as I requested. The sides were OK. My husband got a fillet, and he really enjoyed it.... More

I suggest call ahead seating. They are good about it. The server we had was amazing. Fried pickles are delicious. We had a free kids meal and they let us reuse it. Awesome we will be going back. It's little things like that, that keep people coming back. It was busy but my food was hot and my drink was... More
