A marvel of nature that leaves you ecstatic and breathless for the magnificiency of a water fall of a clear blue sea color. Waterfalls form natural pools where you can swim. The depths of the same vary. You can swim in the designated area with vigilant lifeguards and demarcation ropes for deep areas. This area is just at the the... More

Nothing special here. The bistek and guacamole were ok, rice and beans blah, chips nothing special. They give you queso dip with the chips which was watered down and fairly tasteless. Chili on the tamale taste like canned. Just pass it by folks, there has to be something better nearby.

Sometime you enjoy a place and when you go back it's not the same. Maybe it was the company or the time of year...who knows. We had intended to return to Las Cascadas for a few years and finally made it back...and enjoyed it again. It's where the locals eat and the staff treated us like we belonged. Good was... More

We stopped here on our way through during a family road trip. The service was not great, but not terrible either. Everything we ate was "just okay"... I will say my vegetarian mother really liked the spinach enchiladas. I felt they were bland. I enjoyed the queso dip w/chips, most of all, which was complimentary with our meal. But in... More

We've eaten here twice. The first time it was mind blowingly good, so we had to return! This time it was good, but not the same. You can't beat the service however. Even with a full house they treated our large table of folks with the utmost of care.

Travel up to Davis once or twice a month just to eat here. Bisteck Especial is my fav. Chimichangas are my babes fav. Last trip in, brunette waitress with glasses provided the worst service I have ever had here. They dont wear names, so not sure who she was. She was distracted by events in the restaurant, but none of... More

Service was exceptional. Chips were good hot and crispy with salsa and cheese sauce. Prices were a little high but the charge to share a large plate of nachos upset me and spoiled the time. We did not need an extra plate.

I love this place. My favorite is the Bistek Especial. I order this at least once at every Mexican Restaurant we try, and there isn't anyone who has mastered the flavor that this restaurant has created. DELICIOUS! Their sopapillas are a bit chewy, but they are free, so won't complain. Never had a bad meal here, and this is my... More
