Tried this place on recommendation and it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding as was the service. They have a great menu with some different foods on it. Well worth a visit.

First of all, the place wasn't even packed. Only a few people were in the restaurant and this was in the evening. The hostess sat us down and told us that the waitress will be at our table shortly. Well that "shortly" ended up being...More

Great food, great service. I've been here at least three times in a year, and always good. The unique surroundings are cabin-rustic, so you need to be comfortable with animal mounts. I appreciate the different ones. I missed dessert this time because I stuffed myself...More

I selected this place that was near my hotel and it wasn't a chain restaurant. The place decor is the great outdoors rustic look which I found charming. I sat at the bar since I was soloing it. They boasted of a large bourbon menu...More

The cedar plank bourbon glazed salmon is literally the best piece of fish I have ever had. My husband had the catfish and said the coleslaw in particular was very good. Both the manager and the head chef were walking around making sure everything was...More

Trappers is not your "traditional" fish restaurant, nor is it a traditional "cajun" restaurant, but if you blend the two together you will get very close. We love their fish choices, but their exotic appetizer choices are probably what you will be talking about for...More

good service, decent environment, interesting menu - sort of outback meets new orleans. better quality of course. Enjoyable meal - a little bit different. Not far from airport hotels. A bit pricey for what you get....$20-ish.

We enjoy the atmosphere and the service is always very good. This is my wife's 'go-to' when she has the fried oysters craving. One has to try the alligator appetizer, the blackened is excellent. This time my entrée was the crab crusted salmon which was...More

Trappers offers a truly unique backwoods fishing lodge atmosphere. It is located in the Reno/Meridian Hotel-Airport corridor, near the Fairgrounds. Trappers has been the "Horsemen's and Horsewomen's Headquarters" for over a decade. A 12 ft. Tall Kodiak bear greets customers as they enter the dining room filled with game trophies, authentic Indian canoes, and a live alligator tank. Favorites, along with signature mesquite grilled seafood dishes, are the blackened prime rib, mesquite grilled steaks, quail, and prime pork chops.
