It's closed, don't waste your time. It wasn't very good even when it was open, always seemed to be a little over cooked to us.

Not enough room in town for two similar bbq places and Head Country won out. The owner was the chief cook for Head Country and started his own place. Food was good but not enough patrons finally did him in.

Was good bar-b-que but has since been closed. It was probably 2nd to Head Country Bar-b-que where the owner formerly worked. Head Country is tops!

This was a great Barbeque restaurant but Mr. Dugan retired in the spring of 2013 and sadly Dougan's BBQ is no longer in business. There is still great BBQ in Ponca City at both Head Country and the Blue Moon Restaurants.

Been to Dougan's three times, always great. It was way better than Head Country in quality meat/taste, I'm sad to see it go. Ponca City is in need of great talent in the food industry and they just lost another one.
