This appeared to be a good spot for fresh fish as it's located steps from the doc. One can catch their own crab and have it cooked at the fish market. I ordered the salmon sandwich thinking I'd be getting a fresh/whole filet on bread...but instead was given a very salty frozen fish patty of sorts..about 1/4 thick that didn't... More

If you're looking for fishing tackle/equipment or a souvenir, this is the place to go. Small but well stocked store. Get licenses, rent crab traps and have them cooked on the premises as well.

Hesitated to eat here as it wasn't as busy as the other similar restaurants. I don't know why though!! I had the fish and chips. Best I've had....fresh white fish with a light breading. Not like you the gobs of breading you usually get in a restaurant where there is more breading than fish. The chips/fries were perfect also. My... More

We were wanting fish for lunch so we decided to try this place as it did fish tacos. It was the best fish taco I have ever had and it was huge!! As soon as we walked in the guys behind the counter were asking us what we would like. It was quick service and the guys were very pleasant,... More

In Kansas City we don't have the freshest seafood so on our family trip we decided to go local most of the time. On a budget. The other two eateries on the bay in Bandon were crowded so we wandered into this Bait & Tackle shop. We got four baskets: chicken, fish & chips, calamari, and clam strips. The calamari... More

We stopped in Bandon for a quick bite and apparently so did everyone else because EVERYWHERE in this adorable little coastal town was slammed. Stumbled into Bait & Tackle thinking they might have sandwiches and sodas and were pleasantly surprised by the warm options. Fish & chips were good, not overly battered (my preference), and the burger was mediocre; shouldn't... More

Now I know it sounds odd to go for food at a bait shop. A friend recommended this place, so we thought we'd give it a try. Well, we weren't disappointed. We had the calamari and it was so tender and delicious cooked with great light breading and herbs. It came with fries and a small shrimp cocktail that was... More

Huge lines at other joints so we came down here and YUM!!! Best fish and chips...also had clam strips and calamari! Fast and delicious served by very sweet guys! House made sauces were great with a zippy cocktail sauce.

We rented crab rings here. The man at the counter was very nice and very knowledgeable about fishing and crabbing. Great customer service!

The best smoked tuna in town! Owners are super friendly and helpful. Shrimp wrap, yum! And they have the ballot box for the harbor art show!
